project 3:
Project three dives deep into people’s experiences with two different pandemics; 2020 COVID-19 and the 1918 Flu Pandemic. It is a narrative base paper, and we were given the task the look at 3 other narratives; two narratives from peers in my ENG 110 class, and 1 narrative from someone who experienced the 1918 Flu Pandemic themselves. While working with many pieces I began to open my eyes to the emotional and physical burdens these pandemics have had on a variety of people. While reading and writing about its impact, I learned that although this is a complete change in our everyday life style, we need to put effort into making adjustments and coping in order to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
